As of December, Myanmar is in the first nine months of fiscal year 2016 to 2017, earn more than 1 billion dollars from exports about 1 million tons of beans and pulses . We exported tons and reported on official media Saturday. Exports increased by approximately 1.5 million tons from the last business year 2015 to 2016 in the same period.
Myanmar beans and pulses are primarily exported to India, following China, Indonesia, Europe and Japan. About 80% of them go to India.
India started in 2017 and has offered in the past year to increase their demand for Myanmar mung beans and pigeons peas by 25000 tons a year.
Total export value of agricultural products in the fiscal year of January 6 reached 2.075 billion dollars.
