Myanmar palm craft-makers are fighting for survival

Although working on the basis of the palm of centuries, tradition begins to disappear, because art is difficult to maintain and the attitude of the usual trades varies. But every year from March 12 to 21, the festival briefly encourages this complex work, it requires a lot of time.

And there are about six steps to make them; It’s very difficult, but we still have artisans who stayed in the village. This year, the palm of the buds was hard to find, and their prices have risen. An outbreak is anywhere from 250 to 300. We also have to buy dyes to color the buds.
