In an effort to grow the agriculture business, Myanmar aims to introduce modern Israeli agricultural application and began conference on cooperation between the two countries, as well as the creation of agricultural research and standard fields in Myanmar. On March 20, the Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation headed the talks with Israeli ambassador Daniel Zonshine on these issues, the ministry said in a statement.
Discussions concentrated on high agricultural technologies, crop production with good agricultural practices (GAP) for sustainable development and meeting international standards, as well as the establishment of research fields and the agricultural model for training farmers.

But while the discussions were in their early stages, the details must be resolved so far, said Dr. Ye Tint Tun, Director General of the Department of Agriculture.
Previous learners from Myanmar sent to Israel for training in the workplace, but this was suspended during the Minister of Union U Myint Hlaing.
